Born and raised in Berlin, Germany. Completed a bachelor degree at the University of the Arts, Berlin and masters in product design at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art .
May's work of design mainly revolves around the realm of food culture and hospitality. From furniture & tableware to interiors, she uses her sensibility for aesthetics and her cultural knowledge to create non-conventional user experiences. The aim of her work is to re-discover cultural narratives and give them an esthetic-materialistic interpretation which is relevant for the time of our being.
